Bio

Holly qualified from The College of Animal Welfare. Whilst studying her nursing diploma Holly worked at a first opinion practice in South West London as a veterinary receptionist and then as a patient care assistant. Since being qualified Holly has worked at The Royal Veterinary College, Queen Mother Hospital for Animals as a theatre nurse. It was here Holly found her passion for specialist surgical nursing. Holly joined our team in January 2021 and is currently studying for a certificate in advanced surgical nursing.

Some of Holly’s responsibilities are coordinating theatre cases, preparing surgical equipment and consumables, scrubbing into surgeries, circulating for operations, working with our anaesthesia team to induce and monitor patients, preparing patients for surgery, pre and post-operative nurse consultations for patients undergoing surgery.

Whilst not in work Holly enjoys walking and hiking with her two dogs, Bella and Limmy. Holly is also a keen runner and loves spending time training for different marathons and hikes across the country.
