Dr Sam Stewart DVM, DACVECC
Emergency and Critical Care
Dr. Sam Stewart is originally from the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York, USA. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Binghamton University in New York. He then attended veterinary school at the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, finishing his degree in 2013.
Dr. Stewart completed a small animal rotating surgical and medical internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ in 2014. He joined the Emergency and Critical Care team at the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA in July 2014 as a resident. He completed his residency and was accepted as a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2017. He then worked at the Boston West Veterinary Emergency and Specialty team as a Critical Care specialist. At the same time he also joined Ethos Science, helping to design, implement, and manage clinical trials being conducted throughout Ethos. He currently serves as Commercialization Scientist Fellow with Ethos, working remotely from London.
His areas of interest include sepsis treatment as well as novel modes of pain management in dogs and cats. He is always looking for new and exciting research opportunities to help further the knowledge and capabilities of veterinary medicine.
