Fixed Price Packages

Prescriptions are available from this practice. The prescription fee is £21.00 for the first item, and £12.00 for subsequent items.

You may obtain Prescription Only Medicines Veterinary, (POM-Vs) from your veterinary surgeon OR ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy. Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe POM-Vs only for animals under their care. A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary. You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be dispensed for your animal.

The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every 6 months, but this may vary with individual circumstances. The standard charge for in-person re-examination is £250.

We are pleased to offer fixed prices for Aural Surgery procedures.

Please note that a £120 deposit is required upon booking of Initial Consultations for the Dermatology Service, with a cancellation refund eligibility criteria where notice is received within 24-hours of the scheduled appointment date.

Within internal medicine, we see a wide range of complex and overlapping conditions. We tailor investigations to each patient, deeming this a crucial step to finding the correct diagnosis. We consider the unique medical history, symptoms and environment of our patients, allowing for a personalised approach. This ensures our patients do not have unnecessary tests, avoiding a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.

We do recognise that with diagnostics can come financial burden and worry, and a degree of predictable costing can provide some reassurance to owners. As a clinical team it also allows us to maximise efficiency of our diagnostics, by offering affordable packages where appropriate.

Terms and Conditions

During the proposed testing, we may identify areas that require further investigation. This could necessitate additional diagnostic procedures, which will be estimated separately and agreed upon with the patient's owner before proceeding.

If required, oral medications will be prescribed or sent home with, and these will incur additional costs.

Hospitalisation and/or overnight treatment if required, will be charged additionally as appropriate. The cost for such services would be estimated separately and agreed upon with the patient's owner before proceeding.

Night treatment, this will be charged additionally. The cost for such services would be estimated separately and agreed upon with the patient's owner before proceeding.

Terms and Conditions

Post-operative pain relief will be prescribed for up to 14 days. Payment for any medications required beyond this period will need to be made.

For hospitalisation beyond the 72 hours included in the fixed price, standard hospitalisation fees will be applied.

Should the patient require the input of multiple services due to concurrent conditions (e.g. diabetes, heart disease etc), be considered high-risk for anaesthesia or need critical care, additional fees will be payable to reflect the additional specialist care they have required. Should any treatment be needed which sits outside the package price, its need and costings will be fully discussed with you, provided it is not given in a life threatening emergency.

*where bilateral is specified, this applies when both surgeries are performed on a single occasion, under the same anaesthetic.

Please note these prices do not take into account complications. If additional tests or revision surgeries are required this will be discussed and subject to additional cost.
