Speaker: Vim Kumaratunga BVSc MVetMed CertVOphthal MRCVS (He/Him) RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Bio:

Vim graduated from the University of Bristol in 2005 and always knew he wanted to specialise in ophthalmology, gaining his RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2012.
He has been recognised as a RCVS Advanced Practitioner since 2015, working solely as an ophthalmologist at large private referral hospitals in Bristol and Swindon (2012-2019) before commencing a European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ECVO) residency programme in  2019. Vim completed his final year of residency training and Master of Veterinary Medicine degree at the RVC in August 2022. Vim is also very passionate about teaching and mentoring junior vets and undergraduate students.

Details:

Join Dr Vim Kumaratunga for an evening of case-study based discussion on the subject of corneal ulcer management. This lecture will then focus on the most effective treatment and management options, complication management and when to consider referral.

LVS Evening Seminars:

Held in Central CPD – 204a Manor Pl, London SE17 3BN, we look forward to welcoming you at with refreshments and snacks at 7pm, with a view for 2 x 30minute presentations beginning at 7:30pm with a break in the middle. We are happy to provide extra time for case discussion upon conclusion of the formal presentation.
