BUILDING WORK STARTS ON BIGGEST ANIMAL REFERRAL CENTRE IN LONDON

The construction of our new £8 million animal hospital in Hammersmith is well underway, with a planned opening set for this Spring.

The state-of-the-art 12,000 sq ft facility is designed to house nine consult rooms, a surgical suite with three theatres, an intensive care ward, and an isolation ward. Notably, the hospital will feature dedicated cat areas and advanced diagnostic imaging, neurology, dermatology, and emergency care services.

Impressively, the hospital will be the biggest veterinary referral centre within the M25, and artist’s impressions of the completed hospital have been released, offering a sneak peek at its impressive design and facilities.

Our hospital director, Emma Laws said: “The move to Hammersmith is a major milestone for LVS and one we are incredibly excited about.

“It’s a much larger site than our current centre and will house some of the UK’s top veterinary specialists and state-of-the-art equipment, which will help us continue to provide the best treatment possible for patients.

We’re already actively recruiting for a range of positions at the new hospital, so I’d encourage anyone who would like to find out more about working in our state-of-the-art facility alongside a fantastic team to get in touch with me directly by emailing [email protected].”

Other highlights at the cutting-edge facility will be the first static high-field MRI for veterinary use within London, which will be supported by a specialist neurology service. There will also be a 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy and on-site laboratory enabling rapid diagnosis.
