Thoracic surgery, imaging, and oncology panel discussion

Dr Janet McClaran will highlight recent developments in the field of thoracic surgery. A literature review will summarise advances in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for common thoracic conditions. Mediastinal masses, pulmonary tumours, cardiac procedures, and pleural conditions will be discussed. Dr Richard Elders, Diplomate Oncologist, will discuss when medical or non- surgical treatments should be considered. A case report by Dr. Ian Jones, Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, will provide imaging advances as well. An emphasis will be placed on minimally invasive solutions to thoracic interventions. Please join us for an informative and interesting multi-disciplinary specialist-led discussion.

The evening is to take place at the Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, London NW1 2BE on 19 March, 2019.

The event is free to all veterinary professionals, and CPD Certificates will be available. The evening commences at 7.15pm with an informal supper and refreshments, followed by the discussion at 7.30pm. The evening is expected to finish by 10:00pm.
